And now for some photography

I don’t know if I had mentioned this before, but I like to draw. I’ve drawn nearly all my life, since I was about 2 years old. That may seem like an impressive thing, but really, it isn’t. Just ask my parents, and the thousands of trees that have lost their lives to my artistic hands.

Anyhow, for my portfolio, I started taking photography pictures of my family and friends. Initially, I was only taking their pictures so that I could use them as a reference for drawing, but as I got more involved in it, I started to like taking pictures more and more. It was a sort of “instant gratification” for me; I didn’t have to do any of the work to replicate it, that is.

Soon, a series of photos erupted from this little venture, and now I’d like to share it with you. One at a time.

This is a color photograph of my sister. My favorite part of this photo is how the color on her eyelids, her lips, and her necklace all match. Hence, the title.
